Ok - drop what you're doing - including reading this blog.
And then go over to Felicia Lee's blog - (link on the right) and leave her a well-wishing or a comment.

I did what you asked. Unfortunately, I found no way to leave her a comment. If you speak to her, tell her she's got a great blog, and the right attitude.
I deal with patients on chemo nearly every day. She could give lessons.

I don't have a good attitude, really. I've said before, and I'll say again, I won't do chemo a second time if I metastasize. It can have me.
Sounds weak, but true.
At any rate, thanks.
Whiskey,
Like Doc, I couldn't find a way to leave a comment for Felicia. She has a great blog and a great spirit. My mother went thru a wicked experimental surgery and follow up chemo a year and a half ago. It came back. She's kind of got the same attitude as Felicia's comment here...she won't do the surgery again. She'll try a more aggressive chemo, but not the surgery. Felicia, it's not weakness, it's common sense. It does no good to make yourself more miserable than you may already be. Enjoy life. That's what we're supposed to do. Good luck and I'll be praying for you.
Separate props to Whiskey for helping out a friend.
You've got it wrong, iamhoff. I don't mind surgery, it's no biggie, but I'll never go through chemo like that again.
The best to your Mom. I'm sorry to hear this.
